The Wine Lounge invites guests to explore the Estate’s terroir-driven wines in a beautifully refurbished and welcoming setting. The Lounge offers both indoor and outdoor settings to suit every season.
Under the guidance of award-winning winemaker Kiara Scott Farmer, Hazendal’s acclaimed wines are available for tasting and purchase. Guests can look forward to guided, informative tasting experiences led by the Estate’s knowledgeable team, as well as carefully-curated wine pairings.


mark’s
Mark’s offers evenings of live entertainment with after-hours views into the working wine cellar. Presenting a curated programme of yet-to-be-discovered talent alongside established acts, the venue will host a variety of performances in the fields of music, dance, theatre, drag and spoken word. These live performances will be complemented by artfully-crafted cocktails freshly prepared by Mark’s mixology team.
In addition, The Estate’s wines, thoughtfully-crafted by Winemaker, Kiara Scott Farmer, will also be on offer – perfectly paired with the culinary small plates offering from The Estate’s Culinary Director, Phil Carmichael.

Hazendal’s new flagship restaurant, Siyalima, a Zulu name meaning “we are farming”, embodies the Estate’s deep-rooted philosophy of celebrating the land through fresh, organic, and seasonal ingredients cultivated in the Hazendal Harvest Garden.
Featuring a carefully-curated menu designed by the Estate’s Culinary Director, Chef Phil Carmichael, Siyalima’s culinary offering focuses on precise and elegant cooking that highlights the natural flavours, scents, and textures of organic ingredients. With a refined service approach, the menu is complemented by an extensive wine list curated by Joseph Dhafana, showcasing Hazendal Estate wines crafted by Winemaker Kiara Scott Farmer, alongside select local and international wines from producers of exceptional quality.

Wonderdal offers an immersive and interactive edutainment experience, blending creative design, award-winning educational resources and world-class technology, to combine learning with play. At Wonderdal children aged 5-13 can discover the worlds of science, nutrition and nature across a variety of indoor and outdoor activity zones. With the colourful Amuki characters by their side, and trained WonderPals to supervise, young adventurers can look forward to a fun day out discovering a world of wonder and knowledge.

Established in 1699, Hazendal Wine Estate is one of South Africa’s oldest wine farms, nestled on the Bottelary Hills of Stellenbosch. The Gallery was established in 2018 as a space to showcase the Estate’s private collection. It has since evolved into a platform that celebrates emerging and re-emerging South African and African contemporary artists. The Estate’s Gallery now presents new exhibitions every three to four months, offering visitors a dynamic and continually evolving art experience.
