The large space can be divided in two for more intimate occasions and features unique décor elements like a painted history on the ceiling and a full view of the new fermentation cellar. The front lounge area surrounds an open fire which is ideal for wine tastings or quiet coffees after a meal.

HAZENDAL'S LATEST FUNCTION OFFERING - DIE PLAASTEATER

Die Plaasteater or Farm Theatre project is one that has been steadily gaining popularity in the Western Cape. Upcoming bands, artists and performers are given a platform to perform in a relaxed and fun environment. Having recently relocated to Hazendal Wine Estate, this community theatre project promises to grow from strength to strength.

Plaasteater performances promise guests a night of unforgettable entertainment from a variety of genres, with only one rule - it's all live, no backing tracks allowed. Performing artists come from across South Africa and share their infectious energy with the audience, who can all enjoy some spectacular Hazendal wines during the evening. Shows occur every Wednesday to Saturday between 20:00 and 01:00 and on Sundays between 15:00 and 21:00. Depending on the artists, ticket prices vary from R20 to R80.
