Hazendal as a wedding venue

Hazendal Wine Estate is well known for its memorable weddings, allowing guests to have both your ceremony and reception on our estate.  Guests have the choice to book the venue for the entire day or half a day dependant on your needs.  Download our function packages here (228kb) to provide all the details involved in organizing your special occasions. Once you have decided to share this important day with us you will need to set up a meeting with our function manager who will assist you in guaranteeing your wedding will be a memorable one.

Ceremonies can be held in front of the beautiful Manor House, in our breath taking  Russian Museum (seats 90 pax), or in front of our cosy fireplace located in our lounge.  All of our buildings are National Monuments and therefore offer unique and memorable surroundings. 

Guests have the option of holding their reception in our Hermitage Restaurant or having a Marquee on our spacious lawn.  The Hermitage Restaurant is located between our cosy lounge area and the modern fermentation cellar which can be viewed through the walls of glass.  Hiring of the Hermitage includes access to our Russian Museum, a dance floor, our spacious lawn, cutlery, glasses, and wooden chairs and tables.  In winter our fireplace located in the lounge provides a great place to keep all your family and friends warm. Our venue seats up to 130 people comfortably and menu costs start at R160 per person.
