The new on-line wine shop (www.gondola.co.uk) is geared towards the wider winedrinking population who is looking for a good quality wine to a good price. Hazendal is listed among some of the top New and Old world wine brands and hopes and will hopefully entice gondola’s clients palates.

It is really impressive how rapidly the demand for premium wine is growing among Russian consumers. About 5 years ago, South Africa as a premium wine produce was almost unheard of.

In line with this trend and after Hazendal’s success in Moscow & St. Petersburg, Hazendal is now expanding to the wider regions has become available for instance in Ufa, Novgorod, Tula, Ekaterinburg, Voronesch, Smolensk, Yaroslav, Orsk and Or among many others.

Music in the house event. Marvol our Hazendal importer in Germany hosted it’s first wine & life music event on its premises. The event was sold out and a huge success.

“ This was a very special wine tasting in our warehouse and our first time in such a format. The guests enjoyed music (performed by classical musicions) and food around the globe accompanied by Hazendal wine. The atmosphere was exhilarating and joyful and was ended by an impromptu performance of Russian Romances by our very own employee Dimitry. Albeit this was our first such event, but it will certainly not be our last!!!! "

The Hazendals Last Straw 2006 has won the diamond medal of the Winemakers Choice competition & the Hazendal White Nights 2007 received 3.5 stars in the Wine magazine and is therefore in the top 10 MCC.
