Bottelary Hills

Hazendal presents the Estate’s new Bottelary Hills wine collection by cellarmaster, Kiara Scott Farmer. “Every vintage holds clues, patterns hidden in the vines waiting to be understood,” - for Kiara these clues are subtle guides of her winemaking philosophy. The Bottelary Hills collection presents a balanced curation of three single-variety wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, and Pinot Noir Rosé.

The Hazendal Wine Estate Collection

Hazendal Wine Estate is delighted to release the Estate Collection - carefully crafted by award-winning cellarmaster, Kiara Scott Farmer. The Estate Collection presents a Chenin Blanc, a White Blend of Roussanne and Marsanne, a Pinotage, and a Carignan, each a thoughtful expression of terroir, crafted from varietals grown in carefully selected pockets where distinct soils and microclimates allow each wine to flourish. The collection reflects Hazendal’s continued recognition for excellence, with the EstateWhite Blend 2025 achieving 94 points and ranking among the top wines in Winemag's Prescient Minority Report 2026 as part of the Autumn Series, while the Estate Carignan 2025 secured 93 points and a place among the leading red wines.

At the heart of the collection is Kiara’s remarkable journey and dedication to her craft, which continue to shape the Estate’s winemaking vision. In 2024, she was awarded theprestigious Diners Club Winemaker of the Year, becoming the first female of colour to receive this honour in South Africa.
